Well, after using TypePad for over 4 years, I've made the decision to move our blog to WordPress. If you've been following us here, you can find our updates and new feed link at www.thebellabuzz.com.
I've been thinking about this for awhile and I'm glad I finally made the leap, especially in light of Six Apart being bought by VideoEgg. I think that's a sign right there that TypePad hasn't kept itself in the lead as far as technology, bells and whistles. Just using WordPress's admin tools is a dream compared to Typepad's antiquated platform. Don't get me wrong, TypePad is still a great place to be and I'm sure the new company SAY Media will help pull the system in the right direction, but WordPress is so far beyond in regards to ease of use. I'm certain now that we made the right choice.
Joe and I hope you'll continue to follow us over at www.thebellabuzz.com. You can still read all of our old posts which we've imported over, but there are in a much friendlier format. Let us know what you think of the new site. We'll continue this blog as long as we need to help people make the switch, but we'll be shutting it down when our agreement is up with TypePad.
