Internet Advertising Sales to Break Record in 2006
My husband forwarded a good article to me today about Internet ad sales reaching record numbers in 2006. They've already reached the 2005 mark which was a record itself and are close to topping those numbers again this year. You can read the entire article here.
The summary is that Google and Yahoo have gained the majority in Internet spending. Businesses are continuing to understand how powerful Internet advertising and Search Engine Submission really is. Money allocated to traditional media advertising is moving more and more toward Google and Yahoo ads and other areas of Internet advertising.
Newspapers, radio stations and television networks have seen their revenues tumble as this becomes more obvious to those seeking their audience online. Internet advertising is becoming the most powerful way to advertise and will keep seeing growth as the world becomes smaller and smaller via the Internet.
